Logo, corporate identity, print advertising, and a set of corporate souvenirs for the Moscow hat factory Cardinal&Margo.

The Cardinal factory was established in 1989 in Moscow and has been lovingly producing women’s and men’s hat lines made from felt, velour, angora, straw, and knitwear under the brands: CARDINAL, MARGO, and HAT BOX. The main goal of the company’s rebranding was to unite these three sub-brands into one.

The ampersand, depicted as if lifting a hat in greeting, became not only the trademark symbol but also the foundation for the corporate pattern, composed of various typographic solutions of the symbol. Additionally, special badge-labels were developed for the company to explain that all headwear is made from the proprietary patented material Playfetr, based on 100% rabbit or sheep wool down.
